Building and Grounds Committee

Our buildings and grounds are maintained through the efforts of volunteers from our community. This includes landscape maintenance like shrubbery trimming, weeding, raking, and planting, as well as, painting and small repair work on the church and rectory buildings.

Finance Council

The Finance Council assists and advises the pastor in the administration of all material goods belonging to the parish and all fiscal matters of the parish within the limits of the code of Canon Law and directives of the Bishop.

The Finance Council is responsible for:

Assuring that there is adequate revenue to meet expenses.
Assisting the Pastor in preparation of an annual financial report of income and expenditures for dissemination to the parishioners.
Providing technical expertise to the Parish Council on fiscal matters.

Members are recommended by present Council members and/or Fr. Dan and meet on a monthly basis.

Pastoral Council

The Pastoral Council is a consultative body with responsibility for the implementation of the mission of the Church. The Council acts on behalf of the parish to promote the common good while fostering a sense of community in support of the work of the Pastor and the Bishop.

Councilors serve a three-year term with the option of serving for a second resulting in a total of six years of continuous service. Potential candidates must be registered members of Saint John Neumann Parish. Nominations are reviewed by the Pastoral Council, and formally approved by the Pastor.

Welcome Committee

Our Parish Mission Statement says in part:  “We are a welcoming … Community...”The Welcoming Committee has a broad reach, for example, inviting both newly registered and established parishioners to various functions such as our Parish Picnic and Coffee & Donuts. Everyone is invited to join the Welcoming Committee.
