I am originally from East Stroudsburg, PA, and a 2010 graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville with a BA in Catechetics and Theology.  Having taught Theology at Lancaster Catholic High School for four years, I was welcomed to the community of St. John Neumann Church in 2015 as Coordinator of Religious Education and became the Director of Religious Education in 2016 to serve to build up the children, families, and catechists of the parish as disciples of Jesus Christ.  I live in Lititz with my husband Matt and our son. I enjoy leading retreats, praying with and for individuals and small groups, teaching and laughing.  I look forward to meeting you!

I have lived in Ephrata, PA my whole life and graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School in 2014. I then went to Franciscan University of Steubenville where I double majored in Theology and Catechetics with a concentration in Youth Ministry. I graduated from Franciscan in May of 2018 and happily became the Coordinator of Youth Ministry here at St. John Neumann soon after. I love doing relational ministry with teens, going on adventures, playing guitar, and spending time in front of our Eucharistic Lord. I am excited to meet all of you and to be apart of this parish family!

Parish Nurse

(717) 569-8531 ext.

My Husband, Shawn, and I have four sons; two beautiful daughters (in Law) and two grandbabies.  Our family has been active members of SJN since 1995, involved in numerous ministries.   I had initially developed the role of Parish Nurse/Health minister here at SJN in 1997 and was hired as fulltime Parish Nurse in 1999.  After occupying this role for a decade I stepped away for other nursing endeavors returning to the role, in a part time capacity, in July of 2018.

My nursing career began as an LPN; I am presently a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science with minor in Gerontology from Molloy College.  My Masters of Science is in Counseling and Human Development from Troy State University.

I was certified as a Parish Nurse in 1999 from the International Parish Nurse Resource Center.  The American League of Nursing acknowledged the certification in the early 2000’s under Community Nursing – identifying parish nurses as Faith Community Nurses (FCN).  I have completed 5 units of Pastoral education from Hershey Medical Center.  I am certified as a Professional Chronic Care Coach.

I am passionate about Parish Nursing and the health ministry; Recognizing that an individual’s health is an evolving process and is made up of body, mind and spirit- ever trying to balance itself.  The role of Parish Nurse here at SJN has many facets.  As your Parish Nurse/Health Minister I will be active in Education, Advocating, Consultation and Coordination to name a few areas.    If you would like to learn more about Parish Nursing or are available to assist in the many avenues requiring volunteer support please contact me.

I have been a member of St. John Neumann Parish since its inception. Prior to being employed by St. John Neumann, I worked as an Insurance Adjuster handling Easter Pennsylvania Auto, Bodily Injury and Property Claims.  Jim and I have been married for 52 years and have 2 sons and 5 grandchildren.

As a volunteer, prior to my employment here, I was involved as Vice-President of the Parish Council, Lenten Appeal Co-Chairman, Extraordinary Minister, Lector, Coordinator of Youth Ministry, Catholic Education Advisory Commission, Parish Liturgy Committee and Diocese of Harrisburg Liturgy Commission.  I retired from the Insurance Industry in 2003 and was hired at our Parish as Pastoral Associate, Business Manager and RCIA Director.  In 2015 wishing to cut back my hours, a new Parish Manger was hired and I became Financial Secretary.
