“And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.” – John 17:3 RSV
“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.” – Matthew 28:18-20 RSV
Vision: For the Youth of St. John Neumann Parish to be committed disciples of Jesus Christ, grounded in the sacraments, observing all that the Catholic Church teaches.
Mission: Reflecting Jesus’ commands, Youth Ministry will seek to always love God, love our neighbors, and make disciples. From there we will work to form an inviting, loving community where real and deep relationships can form, opportunities for encounter with Jesus Christ are ample, and formation in the way of Christian discipleship is transformational.
Youth Ministry is working on developing a plan for our Youth that has Discipleship of Jesus Christ at the center, for our Youth Ministry Team, for Youth, and for our parents. As part of that, we will be implementing Discipleship-based Small Groups for weekly formation and evangelization for our teens, along with weekly activities that are prayer, social, and service-oriented and special opportunities to experience the Church in an exciting way, including Steubenville Conferences and NCYC.
If you or your teens want to get involved with Youth Ministry, contact James Hamilton, Coordinator of Youth Ministry, at email@example.com
We are looking for volunteers and core group members to give the best experience possible to our Youth!
