Vision: “At St. John Neumann Catholic Church, we aim to foster in our young people, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a life of discipleship through fellowship and community, a rich sacramental and prayer life, and opportunities for mission and service.”
Patron Saint: The name of our ministry is “Summit Youth Ministry,” because we want to constantly be striving towards the heights of sanctity, our relationship with the Lord, and the person we were each meant to be. Because of this, we have taken Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati as our patron Saint. Frassati was a vibrant and joyful young man who lived in the early 1900s, who loved climbing mountains, practical jokes, serving the poor, bringing his friends closer to Christ, and the Eucharist. We follow his example in striving “Verso L’alto!” –towards the heights!

Kairos is a Greek New Testament term meaning “God’s time.” God, the Creator, lives beyond the “Chronos” version of time that we know so well – scheduled time. When you enter into Kairos, you re-treat, stepping away from the day to day crush for a chance to be renewed. Kairos is first and foremost a student led retreat. The team’s goal is to create the best environment possible for your Kairos. Offered to seniors and juniors who are on the verge of a significant life change after high school, Kairos is a chance to savor the present as you prepare for the future.
If you are a high school junior or senior interested in participating in Kairos, click here to register!
